Five years ago…
You had no idea how many times you’ve stared at the clock just silently urging it to reach ‘4’ at the speed of light so class (aka daily dose of torture) could finally end. But this time, it was the opposite. You watched how the long hand circled the round plane, hoping that, somehow, it would stop. After all, this was your last.
Tomorrow, your family would migrate to a whole new part of the country completely, because of your mother’s job. It was a once in a life time opportunity for her, and the life you’ve built here so far couldn’t even compare. This was your mother’s dream, and it would be heartless to be anything less than happy for her. So you tried to be.
But you couldn’t help it, could you?
It just felt as though everything was gradually slipping from your fingers – everything you’ve ever worked for,
[kuroo tetsurou] you look like bad news
title: you look like bad news
characters: kuroo tetsurou, you
warning: light profanity, triggers of sexual assault (though not much)
He was the kind of boy your parents warned you about.
He certainly didn’t look dangerous - but with that dark, unruly hair and lecherous glint in his eyes - you weren’t exactly subtle in trying to avoid his sharp glares that seemed to creep and settle into the crevices of your skin.
You had never seen him in any of your classes despite sharing the same school uniform (granted, his was much more disheveled) but he looked about your age. He would occasionally wear a large, red jacket around his clothes with white letters displaying "Nekoma" on the back. He was extremely tall, and could loom over you with much ease. However, he seemed to favor sitting on the seats by the window of the train, often with a shorter boy with flamboyant, dyed blonde hair.
It was rare for you to see him alone at times or even appear at the subway you took

You saw the world in numbers - a ticking time bomb that slowly dropped in rapid, red numbers of years, months, weeks, days, and minutes.
It takes you twelve minutes to walk to the train station you use to get to school. Your hands clasp the metal railing above you firmly, waiting for the ten minutes of the mellow ride to pass by. You arrive six minutes early to class before the first bell rings. Twenty eight minutes. One thousand and eighty seconds.
Oikawa enters about two minutes later with a flock of pubescent second and first year girls eagerly trailing his every step as they gush and swoon from the classroom door. He shoots you a lopsided smile before sitting down on your right and running his fingers through his disheveled hair, earning a few more delighted squeals from the group of young girls observing him. Your teacher whacks them all on the head with a rolled up magazine before usheri

warning: profanity, vulgar language, mentions of alcohol consumption
"Stupid fucking man-whore," You grumble under your breath as you wipe at your eyes furiously.
They are brimming a light rose color, the same tint your trembling fingers are blushing. The taste of aged whiskey and blackberry nectar chapstick is still fresh on your lips, as well as the scowl stretched across your icy cheeks. You pull your trench coat closer to your body, the black cloak pressed tightly to your skin to forbid the little heat you had left from escaping your shivering body. You huff and ran your fingers through the fallen strands on your face, hastily brushing across your cheek again.
Midnight is the time for wanderers to go for continuous shots of vodka and for exhausted dreamers to feel at the top of the world or submerged under it. You were stuck at 11:59. The park swings are all abandoned save the one you were sitting in, accompanied by a

“Crap, I’m so gonna be late!” you cried, frantically flipping over your map this way and that in an attempt to read it. You and your horrible sense of direction managed to throw you off track from finding your school, and minutes were ticking down until classes would start.
You went down a street, hoping that it would take you somewhere close to the school, but you only ended up in a neighborhood full of houses that all looked the same. Frustrated, you pulled at your hair. From which parent did you inherit such a horrid sense of direction?
“Excuse me,” you heard a voice call. Surprised, you looked around for the source, but found none.
“Are you lost?”
You turned back around and screamed when you saw the blue haired boy standing right in front of you. “Oh, God, you scared me!” you blurted. “W-when did you get there?”
Oikawa Tooru X Reader - Hero - Ch.11
Blinking at the two males, you began to wonder what on earth happened between them while you were asleep.
“Stop it you two! [F/N]’s woken up.”
Oikawa and Kuroo glared at each other while Iwaizumi tried to break them apart but when your name was mentioned, both boys glanced down at you, their expressions changing. Lips forming into a smirk, Kuroo offered a hand to help you stand up while Oikawa beamed towards you, also putting forward his hand.
“This is awkward…” You mumbled and luckily, Kageyama heard.
Helping you up instead of the two, you smiled towards the younger boy in a thankful manner causing a small tint of pink to appear across his cheeks.
“Breakfast is ready!” Itsuki called and your expression brightened.
Being the first to leave the room, the four boys followed soon after, happy that you were back onto your feet.
“Ah! Don’t eat all the food, [F/N]-chan!” Oikawa saw how you had already inhaled most of the food
Tendou Satori X Yakuza!Reader - Roles Reversed
Eyes landing on the date that was seen on the calendar in Tendou’s room, an excited gleam was seen through your [E/C] orbs.
“Today is an important day,” You informed as you folded yours arms over your chest.
Tendou gazed up at your taller form from the table and blinked in wonder.
“What day is it?” He enquired but when he saw an unfamiliar spark in your eyes, he couldn’t help but tilt his head in confusion.
Letting out another startled cry, Tendou ran away from your mother as she attempted to attack him with her powerful moves.
‘Is this what she calls an important date? I’m about to get my ass kicked here!’ He thought as dread struck his features.
As he continued to avoid contact from your mother, her eyes glistened in perplexity.
‘Why is she running away? We’re only sparring.’
Praying that you wou

Akashi Seijuro had been overworking himself lately. It wasn't hard to tell; anyone with eyes could see the dark circles under his eyes, and the paleness of his face. Seijuro had been working his fingers to the bones, and yet, nothing he accomplished was ever good enough in the eyes of the head of the company, his father.
It was clear to Seijuro that he would never attain the definition of perfect the older Akashi had, and that greatly distraught him. Seijuro wanted to be acknowledged for his achievements, as his own man, he doesn’t want to be known as someone who rode his parent’s coattails to get to where he is today. Yet, every time he submitted his work, his father would just shake his head, and look away.
It just displeases him, knowing his co-workers were talking about him behind his back. “He’s not as good as his old man,” they said. “Stop comparing me to him,” he wanted to l

Soulmate AU in which you and your soulmate have matching tattoos.
You came to realise that every time the Nekoma volleyball team held practice, your eyes would always follow the ‘Scheming Captain’, Kuroo Tetsurou, around. Lingering stares and whatnot. Of course, you would also keep a look out for the rest of the team; after all, you were the team’s manager. You need to make sure the rest of the team was always in top form.
But in the end, your attention would always, always fall back to the ravenette.
You didn’t really know why yourself, but you find him charming. Maybe it's the bad boy air surrounding him, bad boys always did have a charm to them.
The both of you weren't really that close to each other; the only time you did spoke to him was when you greeted each other when you happen to walk past, or when volleyball was involved, much like currently.
“Kuroo, help me with the balls.” you asked h

Soulmate!AU where the first words your soulmate says to you is inked onto your wrist
The train was rather empty as she stepped in, her shoes clicking softly against the floor as she walked to a vacant seat. A soft sigh left her rosette lips as she smiled to herself. Even though she had to wake up almost an hour earlier than usual to avoid the rush hour crowd, it was worth it if she could avoid squeezing into the train with a ton of other people like a pack of sardines.
Leaning back into the seat, she plugged in her headphones, bobbing her head slightly to the rhythm of the song playing from her phone. A couple of stations had passed, and no one else had come in, which was expected, since the sun hadn’t even fully risen yet.
When the train stopped at the next station, [Name] saw someone in black sport shoes walk past her. Looking up, she was shocked to see the “prince” of her school sitting down on the opposite side. He was dressed in his volleyball attire and s
